What is it?A Minecraft adventure map series where we try to give an RPG kind of vibe. You explore the world, interact with characters, earn money, and gear up the way you want to in order to complete dungeons and progress the story.
Hand Crafted for Maximum FlavorThe Process
We put a lot of time and effort into the story and the world, laboring over every part till we're sick of it. After that, we send it out for our first set of players who are unaware that they are our guinea pigs. When they gripe about stuff, we send out updates and fix the stuff that broke. It's iterative building at its finest. In all seriousness, we really do work long and hard, going so far as planting individual trees where we want them and sculpting mountains to be just so. We do use MC Edit to do some heavy lifting, but after that, it's a lot of hands-on building. A lot of times, we work on paths and sight lines to make sure you get a cool view when you come around a corner or get to the end of a hard-to-reach trail. Quality, not Quantity
In the end, we don't go for "huge" or try to make jaw-dropping castles and stuff. We keep the scale manageable, focusing on a world where you really could explore every nook and cranny, rewarding you with hidden chests or Easter eggs. As far as the story goes, we spend just as much time making sure it makes sense and that it's exciting to get in there and engage with it. We argue back and forth, trying to ensure there's a good flow and that people will have fun. There's a balance between making it tough and letting you feel like you're making progress. Ultimately, we hope it feels like a world you just want to hang out in. |
